the Italian Government, recognizing the impossibility of continuing the unequal struggle against the overwhelming power of the opposing coalition of saving more and more serious disasters to the nation called for a truce to General Eisenhower, Allied commander in chief of the Anglo-American forces. The request has been granted. Consequently, every act of hostility against the Anglo-American forces must cease by the Italian forces in every place. However, they will react to any attacks from any other sources
