The U.S. Mission to Italy is assisting Americans who may have been
affected by the earthquake in central Italy. At this point we have no
information that American citizens have been injured. We urge American
citizens in Italy to contact family and friends directly to let them
know you are safe, and to monitor @TravelGov and media for updates about
the earthquake. Americans who require assistance, or persons with
information or questions about Americans in the affected areas may call
the U.S. Embassy’s earthquake response center at 06-4674 2944, or
contact the center by email at USCitizensRome@state.gov.
